Terms & Disclaimer
1. What TornScout is
TornScout is a fan-made monitoring tool for the browser game Torn. It reads Torn's official public API and sends notifications. It does not automate, script, or perform any action inside the game on your behalf, and it never will — that would violate Torn's rules.
2. No affiliation
TornScout is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Torn or its developers. "Torn" is referenced nominatively to describe compatibility. We use no assets, artwork, or trademarks of the game.
3. Your API key
At signup we ask for a Public-level Torn API key, used once to confirm your player identity. The key is stored encrypted at rest, is never displayed after onboarding, is never shared with third parties, and is not used for anything other than identification. You can revoke it in Torn's settings at any time; revoking it does not delete your TornScout account.
4. Payments and access
Access is sold for in-game currency, sent player-to-player inside Torn. Payments extend access by the purchased number of days and are additive. In-game money transactions are irreversible; refunds are at the admin's discretion. Access grants are tracked in a ledger and the current expiry date is always visible in your dashboard.
5. No promises
TornScout finds prices; it does not guarantee profit, availability, or that you will win any specific listing. Market data comes from Torn's API and can lag or fail; alerts are best-effort. Trading decisions and their outcomes are entirely yours.
6. Fair use
Don't abuse the service, resell alerts, or attempt to overload the system. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or that use TornScout in violation of Torn's own rules.
7. Data
We store your e-mail, Torn ID and name, your watch configuration, your Discord webhook, and your access/payment history — the minimum needed to run the service. Delete requests: contact the admin in-game (Klauz [1883699]).
